KRAKEN Comic archival print
The third in my faux-comic series, this cover features a kraken in the form of a giant squid attacking George Street, the infamous entertainment district of St. John’s, Newfoundland. For centuries, giant squids – in part or in whole − have washed up on the shores of The Rock, proving the declaration on old maps “Here There Be Monsters” was no mere fancy! You might recognize Dale Jarvis, our provincial folklorist and founder of the Haunted Hike, running in terror along with local drag diva extraordinaire Eda Kumquat, and local textile artist/costume designer Tucker Ellis.
The paper size is 11” x 14”, with the cover sized to the dimensions of a vintage comic book. This is a high-quality archival print on thick stock with all original artwork.
